Agreement signed with Mauritania!

At the beginning of October, in Nouakchott, the capital of Mauritania, a joint declaration of intent between the Ministry of Oil, Mining and Energy and the German company weelectrify.Africa, which specializes in renewable energies, was ratified. The signing took place in the presence of the German ambassador Isabel Hènin.

The aim of the cooperation is the construction and operation of a wind farm with 100MW output in northern Mauritania. With the addition of this plant, Mauritania will then have a total capacity of 230 MW of wind energy, making it the per capita leader in Africa.

weelectrify.Africa has been exclusively entrusted by the ministry with the further development of the wind farm at the WestSteam-1 location, and has received a commitment for extensive technical and institutional support and cooperation.

Weelectrify.Africa's equity crowdfunding campaign runs on Crowd4Climate until the end of the year. The project developer offers you an annual interest rate of 7% for your investment, with a loan term until June 30th, 2023.
