The coming energy communities (EG) form complex systems with different requirements. However, these mostly very specific solutions, which are tailored to the individual case, can only be duplicated to a limited extent. With this in mind, the UCERS research project is developing a free online platform for technical and economic networking. The platform allows an optimized operation of energy communities. Through the development of easy-to-use applications, the actors are permanently involved in shaping the energy transition. This is an important step on the way to Austria's climate neutrality by 2040.
