Jorge Luján Córdoba

Project Manager

Jorge is a climate policy, carbon finance, and international mechanisms expert, with a background as a marine scientist. He has worked as a consultant driving the adoption of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, supporting multiple countries in Africa, LATAM, MENA, and Asia with the implementation of Article 6 frameworks and strategies. His work also includes the design and delivery of capacity building for policymakers on behalf of UNDP and other development institutions and the design of corporate climate strategies.

Ayse Frey

Ayse Frey

Managing Director

Ayse is a sustainability and climate change leader with more than 20 years’ experience in the carbon and ecosystem services markets, including project development, origination, standard development, and auditing. In previous roles she has worked as a lead auditor in the validation and verification of carbon projects at the certification company TÜV SÜD, as a member of the UNFCCC CDM Registration & Issuance Team, and as Operations Director at The Gold Standard Foundation.

Michaela Goldenitsch

Michaela Goldenitsch

Project Assistant

Michaela is a sustainability professional and administrative expert, with a background in biodiversity management and wildlife conservation. During her time at WWF Austria, she coordinated the work of the conservation department, supported the development and implementation of EU projects and carried out technical research. Michaela brings significant experience as an administrative coordinator and supports research activities and business development tasks at Energy Changes.

Oliver Percl

Project Manager

Oliver is an environmental economist with more than 20 years of professional experience in the fields of international energy, climate change and business development. At Energy Changes he identifies, develops, and commercializes greenhouse gas mitigation projects with a focus on renewable energy and energy efficiency. Oliver leverages his expertise to implement innovative mitigation projects and design emissions accounting systems for multiple technologies, including energy efficiency, wind, hydro, solar, biomass, geothermal, transport, and waste.

Clemens Plöchl

Clemens Ploechl

Managing Director

Clemens is a conservationist, executive, and researcher with 30+ years’ experience in the implementation of international greenhouse gas mitigation projects, sustainable energy, green finance, and climate policy across the world. Having worked with private and public entities, including development institutions and national governments in the early adoption of the Kyoto Protocol, CDM, and JI, and having advised UNFCCC negotiation delegations, he now continues to lead the implementation of mitigation efforts through working closely with the private and public sector.

Sylvie Rietmann

Sylvie is a dynamic sustainability professional, with a background in project management, energy efficiency, wildlife conservation, sustainable mobility, and climate change mitigation and adaptation. A leading expert implementing various aspects of carbon markets under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement in Asia, she provides governments with thought leadership and best practices on how to best implement cooperative approaches. Sylvie brings her expertise to Energy Changes as a Project Manager leading close consultations with governments and supporting the advancement of mitigation efforts across the globe.

Manfred Stockmayer

Manfred Stockmayer

Managing Director

Manfred is a carbon mitigation, carbon finance, climate policy, and clean energy executive with over 25 years of experience. He brings invaluable knowledge as an early expert in the CDM, having developed carbon mitigation projects under multiple international standards, countries, and technologies, leading them through design, implementation, monitoring, verification, and issuance. He is a senior project manager leading multi-disciplinary teams in extensive assignments for institutions such as EBRD, UNDP, UNIDO, World Bank and the EU Commission over the last 25 years. As an experienced sustainable energy executive he has led the revision and update of NDCs and the development of NAMAs in Africa, Asia, and SIDS.

Wolfgang Wetzer

Wolfgang Wetzer

Project Manager

Wolfgang is a senior professional with a civil engineering, environmental and energy background and more than 20 years’ international project development experience. He has worked extensively with SMEs, municipalities, government institutions and international organizations, approaching projects as a multidisciplinary expert in technical, financial and policy aspects in Europe, Africa and MENA. Wolfgang has extensive experience in Net Zero Strategies, ESG analysis/reporting, Life Cycle Assessments and Carbon Footprints, development and implementation of GHG mitigation projects, renewable energy and energy efficiency projects; under various standards/regimes and different research programs.
